Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This article discusses the role of Educational Technology (ET) in improving the quality of PAI learning. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach. The findings show that ET plays an essential role in creating more interactive, personalized, and flexible learning. Applications such as Kahoot and Sway can enhance students' learning motivation through technology-based assessments and engaging material presentation. However, challenges such as technological access gaps and teacher competencies remain obstacles. Proposed solutions include improving technological infrastructure, providing teacher training, and developing high-quality digital content. By integrating ET in alignment with Islamic principles, PAI learning can become more effective and relevant in the digital era.
